RF Wireless Handheld Keyboard and Touchpad
BackHTPC Dream
Today I will be reviewing what may be the best accessory for a media center. The RF Wireless Handheld Keyboard and Touchpad from http://efo.buy-lowest.com.They were kind enough to send this in for me to review. I have been using it about a week now and I really like it. Setup on Windows is easy, Just plug in the adaptor to a free usb port and your done.
Charging of the keyboard/trackpad is also done via usb, which is very convenient. I still like to use my media center remote when in the media center software but where this shines is when you need to do any thing else. If I need to map a new network drive or trouble shoot some thing on the pc I use this and I can do it from the couch. I can also use this to browse the net from the couch, which is a great thing to be able to do on an HDTV.
Battery life is really good on the keyboard/trackpad. I have a tendency to keep the switch in the off position if not in use but I have a feeling it doesn't matter to much. My only complaint is that the mouse does not seem as sensitive as it could be. I cranked up the speed in windows but wish I didn't have to. This could just be because I am not used to using a track pad on a 1920x1080 resolution screen. Now on to the pictures.
